New to CHILD SPARKS?
CHILD SPARKS is a parent-led community supporting children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs and their families. You can contact us while waiting for an assessment or when you are unsure what help to ask for.
Start by exploring our support and public activities. You do not need an account to browse this website.
Explore public activitiesJoining, step by step
1. Open Sparks Connect and choose Join Sparks Connect, then the Parent/Guardian route.
2. Verify your email and complete your application. Connect explains the information and documents needed; you can save your progress.
3. Submit your application for review. Check Connect for the outcome or any request for more information.
4. Once approved, complete your family details and explore the activities and support available to you. Signing up does not automatically approve membership or reserve an activity place.

Do I need a diagnosis? You can reach out without a diagnosis, including while waiting for assessment.
Why are activity details private? The public calendar shows only the activity name, town, date and format. Sign in to Connect for the details you are eligible to access and to book.
Can I ask a question first? Yes. Use Contact us for a general enquiry. Share private child or family information only through the appropriate secure Connect workflow.
Will someone supervise my child? Parents and carers remain responsible for their children. Read the participation guidance and the specific activity information before attending.
